The generators almost NEVER work, they give you a free code, but that code isn't activated yet. When someone buy a card from a store, the clerk will activate it on their comp.When you take a code from a generator, it's likely not activated yet, so it'll actually fail when you try to redeem. The only way is you accidentally get a code that someone just bought from a store, but not redeem it yet. The odd of that is awfully low.
